About the Founder

I built this for the woman I used to be.

For nearly two decades I led teams inside large corporations — in rooms where I was often the only woman, often the only Latina, and almost always the one taking notes. I learned, slowly and expensively, that doing the work was never enough. You also have to name it.

La Jefa Latina is the practice I wish I'd had: a monthly ritual that turned my quiet contributions into a vocabulary, a record, and eventually a career. It is mentorship by mail — written for the woman who is doing more than anyone in her life seems to see.
